Armacell is a world leader in flexible and engineered foams for industrial plant equipment, employing 3,000 people worldwide across 25 production plants in 16 countries, and generates sales of approximately £487 million.

Armacell required a microsite highlighting the environmental credentials Armaflex, one of their key engineered foam products. The site had to be attention grabbing yet contain industry specific technical data, affording sales representatives a stand-alone product showcase that was lightweight and responsive.
Above all, the microsite had to be produced on a tight budget and to an even tighter deadline.
As content had been pre-approved the design had to accommodate a large amount of technical data taken from various sources, and it had to do so in an engaging manner. The clear choice for condensing such information was animation.
A series of simply animated infographics were designed and produced, providing the channel through which this information would be conveyed.
Deploying the animations as the main focus of the homepage successfully broke the volume of information down into manageable chunks, resulting in a lightweight and engaging design.
The rest of the site followed the principle of using infographics where appropriate and meant the site remained lightweight no matter which device it was accessed from.
An engaging microsite that exceeded the brief, produced on budget and within the tight deadline.
